Terms and Conditions

1. Introduction

Welcome to Origo Property Solutions Ltd. ("the Company," "we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using our property maintenance, kitchen and bathroom fitting, and interior renovations or any other services ("the Services"), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please refrain from using our Services. 

 

2. Acceptance of Terms 

By accessing or using our Services, you affirm that you are of legal age and have the legal capacity to enter into a contract. If you are using the Services on behalf of a company or another entity, you warrant that you have the authority to bind such entity to these Terms and Conditions. 

3. Privacy Policy 

Your privacy is essential to us. Please review our Privacy Policy to understand how we collect, use, and disclose information about you. By using our Services, you consent to the practices outlined in our Privacy Policy. .

4. Services Description

Origo Property Solutions Ltd. offers property maintenance, kitchen and bathroom fitting, interior renovations and other services. The specific details of the services, including scope, timelines, and costs, will be outlined in individual service agreements or contracts. 

5. Quotes, Estimates, and Payment

A. Payment and billing: For the services rendered, you agree to pay the agreed-upon amount as specified in this section. Payment terms and methods will be outlined below.

B. Payment Schedule: For services provided by the Company, the payment schedule will be outlined in the individual service agreements or contracts. Depending on the scope and duration of the project, payments may be due in instalments or as a lump sum upon completion.

 

Payments are due within 7 days from the date of invoice issuance, unless otherwise specified in writing.

C. Payment Methods: We accept payment by cash, credit/debit card, bank transfer, or any other payment method specified in the service agreements. Card payments may incur additional fees. The payment method must be agreed upon by both parties before the commencement of the project.

D. Late Payments: In the event of late or delinquent payments, the Company reserves the right to charge interest or late payment fees as permitted by law. The amount of interest or late payment fee the Company charges is 5% of the invoice total each week until the invoice is settled.

In the event of prolonged non-payment or persistent late payment, the Company reserves the right to pursue legal action, including filing a claim in small claims court, to recover the outstanding amounts owed by the client.

E. Disputed Charges: If you believe there is an error in your invoice or statement, please contact us within 7 days of receiving the invoice to dispute the charges. Failure to notify us within this period will be deemed as an acceptance of the charges.

F. Additional Costs: In certain cases, unforeseen circumstances or additional work not originally outlined in the service agreement may arise during the project. In such instances, any additional costs will be communicated to you, and written approval will be obtained before proceeding with the additional work.

G. Taxes and Duties: All applicable taxes, duties, and government-imposed fees relating to the services provided by the Company are the sole responsibility of the customer and will be added to the final invoice accordingly. 

 

6. Workmanship and Materials

We strive to provide high-quality workmanship and use materials of suitable standard for our projects. However, we do not warrant or guarantee the workmanship, materials, or products provided by third-party suppliers or manufacturers unless employed or sub-contracted by the Company.

7. Warranties

7.1 Warranty Coverage 

7.1.1 Workmanship Warranty: Origo Property Solutions Ltd. warrants that all home improvement work performed by us will be free from defects in workmanship for a period of 1 year from the date of completion.

 

7.1.2 Product Warranty: Products supplied and installed by the Company are covered by the manufacturer's warranty. The Company will assist clients in facilitating warranty claims with the respective manufacturers.

7.2. What is Covered? 

7.2.1 Workmanship: This warranty covers defects arising from the installation and workmanship of the home improvement project, including but not limited to: 

- Faulty installation 

- Structural issues related to our work 

- Non-compliance with building codes at the time of installation 

7.2.2 Products: The warranty covers defects in the products supplied and installed by us, as specified in the manufacturer's warranty. 

7.3. What is Not Covered? 

7.3.1 Normal Wear and Tear: This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear of the products or materials used in the home improvement project.

7.3.2 Negligence or Misuse: Any damage caused by negligence, misuse, abuse, or failure to properly maintain the home improvement project is not covered.

7.3.3 Acts of Nature: Damages caused by natural disasters, acts of God, or other external forces beyond the Company's control are not covered. 

7.4. Making a Warranty Claim 

7.4.1 To make a warranty claim, the homeowner must notify us in writing within a reasonable time after the defect is discovered. 

7.4.2 We will inspect the alleged defect and determine if it falls within the scope of the warranty. 

7.4.3 If the defect is covered, the Company will, at its discretion, repair or replace the defective work or materials. 

 

7.5. Exclusions 

7.5.1 This warranty is non-transferable and applies only to the original homeowner who contracted Origo Property Solutions Ltd. for the home improvement project. 

7.5.2 The warranty is void if any modifications or alterations to the home improvement project are made by parties other than Origo Property Solutions Ltd.

7.6. Limitation of Liability 

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Origo Property Solutions Ltd. shall not be liable for any consequential, incidental, or special damages arising out of or in connection with the home improvement project or the warranty. 

 

8. Cancellation and Rescheduling

If you need to cancel or reschedule a service appointment, please notify us as soon as possible. Cancellation or rescheduling fees may apply, depending on the notice provided and the stage of the project.

9. Liability and Insurance

Origo Property Solutions Ltd. maintains liability insurance to cover any potential damages or losses resulting from our services. However, we are not responsible for damages caused by pre-existing structural issues or unforeseen circumstances beyond our control.

10. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Origo Property Solutions Ltd. and its affiliates, officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses, including reasonable attorneys' fees, arising out of or in any way connected with the use of our Services.

11. Modifications

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. It is your responsibility to review these terms periodically for any changes. Your continued use of the Services after any modifications will constitute your acceptance of the updated terms.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising under these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in England and Wales.
